A Fine Line (2018)

The thin veil of masculinity that surrounds so many in today's society is a fragile thing.

A Fine Line tackles the issues of masculinity in the present social and political climate. Whether it is used as a camouflage to help one blend in to the background or as a protective shield to deflect acknowledgement of ones insecurities, it lies as a delicate cover between men and the world around them.

Dealing with issues of masculinity, mortality,and fragility, System Theatre Company present A Fine Line, a 30 minute insight in to the volatile and destructive nature of some male tendencies. The performance acts as a reveal to show one mans true feelings and his questions of societal constructs, with reference to the recent rise in male mental health issues and male suicide rates.
