Strike Through - Exhibition (2018)

This exhibition is an attempt to find the beautiful in the underappreciated and the clarity in the confused. It aims to unpack the process of decaying and asks questions about why we still bother to create only to destroy. It still has a pulse, it is still moving, adapting and shifting. It has not died in its destruction, but in fact been reborn to be observed, digested before shifting once again. Born out of a performance about a life, this exhibition is a demonstration of that which is still being lived. The aftermath of being born, ageing, changing and dying; because we are not born with the capability to remain perfect. We produce life, only to destroy it. Art is produced in much the same way.​
